The complainant parked his truck at the location on 04-07-14 at 7:50am with no damage. He returned to the truck the next day at 6:25pm to find the driver's door lock punched, and an obvious attempt to pry the driver's door open at the window frame. Entry was not gained and no property taken.

Victim's vehciel was burglarized while parked in the Aquatic Lot. The window was smashed and a purse containing a drivers' license and several credit cards were taken. Surveillance of the incident was captured and submitted to the NOPD 3rd Distict Detective Bureau. No additional information was available. NOPD Item Number D-3565-14

Location: South Main Parking Lot
Driver of vehicle #2 stated she was driving in the South Main parking lot when driver of vehicle #1 backed up out of a parking spot and struck. Driver #1 got out his vehicle, handed her the hubcap to her vehicle, said he was sorry and then drove off. He could not bee located at the time of this report but the investigation will continue.

Officers investigated a complaint of a disturbance between roommates at the above location. During the disturbance it is alleged that both female occupants threw objects at the other without making contact. Damage to an apartment door was reported. One of the reporting persons left the apartment for the night and will relocated to another apartment by property management in the morning. No injuries were sustained and neither party wished to pursue criminal charges at the time of report.

Victim stated his girl friend scratched his vehicle in December of 2012 and was supposed to pay for its repair. When she did not pay the amount he wanted, he notified police of the incident. The girl friend admited to scratching the car and was issued a summons for simple criminal damage to property.

Reporting Person stated he observed via an installed video surveillance camera, a subject enter rooms 210 and 213 in the CERM building. The subject was observed to enter both rooms starting at 3;59am on 3-8-2014. The reporting person stated a computer scanner was missing. Further investigation to follow.

The complainant said she parked her car at the location on the date of report at 8:30am. At that time there was no damage to her car. She returned to the car at 7:30pm to find that her vehicle had apparently been impacted by another car resulting in dents, scratches and red paint transfer to the right rear quarter panel of her vehicle. The responsible party was not present nor did he/she leave contact information.

Location: Privateer Place, Apt. 511
The reporting officer investigated a residence burglary at Privateer Place, apartment 511, which is a four bedroom residence at full occupancy. The last tenant to leave the apartment departed at about 12:00 p.m. on January 30, 2014, and was certain that the front door was locked and the bedroom doors undamaged. Another tenant returned at about 2:50 p.m. on the same date to discover that the front door was unlocked and three of the interior bedroom doors had been forced open and damaged. Reportedly a computer laptop, a set of computer speakers, two pairs of shoes, a watch, and 35 dollars in U.S. currency had been stolen from within the residence. There was no sign of forced entry nor were there any suitable surfaces to recover latent fingerprints. The incident was also documented under N.O.P.D. item A-37291-14.
